London-based indie rock band The Horn have dropped a new single, ‘People Like Us’. It’s a non-judgemental anthem of solidarity that talks of those who find themselves on the outskirts of polarising debates and extreme opinions. The band achieves this through a climactic, highly melodic composition that oozes with texture and catchiness. On the genesis of the track, Johnny Taylor explains: “The track started as a melody I was humming at my flat in Hackney. Then Nick, Danny and I developed it and Ed and Danny gave it washy Currents-esque synths (for fans of Tame Impala).  We arranged a vocal breakdown and the chorus came straight together after Danton [Supple], our producer, visited us in Baker St studios.” ‘People Like Us’ is the title track from their debut album, which will be released on November 3rd, 2023. -Dan Peeke.
